System Tests

Welcome to the Interview on Demand system tests. Here we will do two quick tests that will determine if your computer is ready to work with our system so that you can take a video interview. Once you have performed these tests successfully, your system is ready to use to take an interview from any employer who uses Interview on Demand.

First we will test your download and upload speeds. This test will determine if your connection to the internet is fast enough to capture good quality video from your webcam.

Next we will test your webcam. We will make sure that it is connected correctly to your computer and that the microphone is working properly. We will actually let you record yourself and view a playback to insure that everything is in tip top shape for your next video interview on our system.

Internet Speed Test
Acceptable > 128 kbps | Good > 250 kbps | Great > 500kbps

Compare the readings that you get on the upload portion of our speed test to that values above. If you are above 128 kbps then your connection is fast enough to make an acceptable video. The higher the speed the better the video. If your system tests out higher than 500 kbps, then your video should be of very high quality.
